ANNUAL UFO CRASH @ AZTEC SYMPOSIUM

The UFO Crash @ Aztec Annual Symposium started in March 1998, with the acknowledgment of the 50th anniversary of the alleged UFO Crash @ Aztec. This incident is known as "the well kept secret" or "the other Roswell", because of its close proximity in date (Mar. 25, 1948) and area (New Mexico) to Roswell, which occurred 8 months earlier than the alleged "Roswell Incident".
The Aztec Public Library initiated discussions on this particular incident hoping to glean any local memories that might shed some further light on the subject. An Oral History Project was started, and the debate is still on going. We invite all who find this subject fascinating or have further information to contribute to the growing debate. Was this a sham cooked up by scheming con artists or an actual incident? At the time, the security rating for knowledge of this event was rated two points above the H-bomb in security.
Having just completed our 9th Annual Symposium & related events we are now preparing for the Ten Annual Events of which you can become a part of!

These two subjects have blossomed into active interdisciplinary fields that are providing new perspectives into the historic and cultural patterns of human interactions with the cosmos.
The proposed Center would contain not only a modern digital planetarium; but also be the hub for an innovative Educational Outreach Program and a hands-on Science & Research Center, will focus on the culture & science of Space - Past, Present & Future.
