Al Guilford, who died Dec. 24, 0001, has made a tremendous contribution of time and talent to the community of Aztec, especially the Library Community and he will be long remembered and missed terribly
Al served two full terms as the Aztec Library Advisory Board President, totaling seven years of service. He also worked long and hard at the inception of the Friends of the Library’s first attempt at fund-raising for the new library, the Aztec UFO Symposium which started in May of 1998 and is now in its fifth year. Al accomplished all this with his trademark smirk and contagious laugh.
