Peter Gersten

Peter Gersten is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Arizona. He formerly engaged in the practice of criminal law in New York City for over 20 years both as a prosecutor and criminal defense trial attorney. He is presently Executive Director of Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) at http://www.caus.org, a non-profit Arizona activist organization which believes that this planet, and the people on it, are in contact with a non-human form of intelligence. CAUS believes that the people have an absolute and unconditional right to know about this contact and is against all secrecy surrounding it. Represented the plaintiff in the following Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation:

1977: Ground Saucer Watch (GSW) v. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
• Resulted in the release of over 900 pages of UFO related documents

1980: Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) v. National Security Agency (NSA)
• Appealed to US Supreme Court the District Court's decision to withhold 135 UFO documents on National Security grounds

1998: Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) v. Department of Army
• Case pending in the US District Court in Phoenix involving information about alien bodies and alien autopsy reports.
• Oral argument scheduled for May 10th on the adequacy of the Army's search

1999: Citizens Against UFO Secrecy (CAUS) v. Department of Defense
• Case pending in the US District Court in Phoenix involving information about the triangular UFOs continually being seen in our skies.

1981: Chief Counsel for plaintiffs in Betty Cash et. al v. US Government
• Only lawsuit in US history for damages caused by plaintiffs contact with a UFO

FUTURE CASES

• CAUS v. FBI, CIA and DoD for information about the 'alien abduction phenomenon'

• CAUS v. ARIZONA to direct the governor of Arizona to request the federal
government meet its responsibility under Article IV; Section IV of the US
Constitution and protect the state against 'invasion.'
